Dit is het nieuwe model. Nu met nog snellere processor en 75% meer processor kracht, betere wifi ondersteuning en USB en microSD slot. Deze nieuwe Fire-tv kan ook 4K Ultra HD tv,s aan
Het kastje is ongeveer even groot als Apple TV en heeft een quad core-processor aan boord, naast 2 GB aan RAM. Fire TV zou drie keer sneller moeten zijn dan bestaande oplossingen. Ook is er de mogelijkheid om een bluetooth headset aantemelden op de fire-tv Kan je heerlijk relaxed flims/series kijken zonder de rest van huis met het geluid lastig te vallen. De als extra te bestellen bluetooth headsets (HDX,AMP/ISO earplugs of PYLE) zijn dan een goede en voordelige keus.
Via Fire TV worden onder meer diensten als Amazon Video, Hulu Plus, ESPN, Showtime, MLB, Vimeo, TED, Disney, YouTube en Netflix aangeboden. Er zijn daarnaast 200.000 filmtitels te huren. Amazon bood al een volledig filmprogramma aan via Amazon Prime.
Daarnaast kunnen ook games worden gespeeld. ChromeIT kan ook de bijbehorende game controller leveren.
