What does ERM stand for?
Electromagnetic resonance. With this technology, the pen uses an electromagnetic field generated by the display screen of the device (tablet, smartphone or notebook) and interacts with it inductively. The device used always knows where on the screen the tip of the Noris digital pen is located. Since the stylus uses the power of the device in this way, it never needs to be charged or paired with the device. The prerequisite for the use of the Noris digital is therefore that the WACOM-EMR technology is built into the display of the device used.
Do I have to install any particular software or driver in order to be able to use the pen on devices with EMR technology?
No. As long as the WACOM-EMR technology is built into the display of your Chromebook, you can get started with the Noris digital right away, without having to install any software.
